That Beautiful Apple
“That Beautiful Apple”
Vacation right where you are
Be still and close your eyes
Escape the hurry, feel the peace.
Tour a destination called Improvise.
You’re invited by Him who knows you best,
Slow down with God and be still
You’ll find the optimal place to stay
It’s been avowed the Inn is Tranquil
Inside this cosset, this haven
Human words can hardly convey
The communion and the intimacy
No worth could ever outweigh
The answers are there in the abiding.
They won’t be found any other place.
What happens in those private moments
Transcends both earth and space.
Only you and God can enter
This secret place inside of you.
A place to lay bare all your soul
You‘ll find it to be tried and true.
The wants and needs you went in with
That have troubled and vexed your soul.
Will be heard and confirmed from the One
Who wants you so much to be whole.
Sometimes we want a King on the Hill.
A mighty Ruler that protects on all sides
A Sovereign who steps in - stops all evil!
Who negates the will and overrides.
But He’s not Santa - He’s God the Creator
We’re not His toys, puppets or elves.
Since this world was created as a perfect fit.
What’re the outcome, we’ve done it ourselves
God’s ways are high above our ways
The human mind cannot comprehend
The power of His love to do His will
On this earth to save and to mend
So the sharing between you and your Father
Will give understanding - peace that is true
It’s in your abiding, as a child on the lap
Of the Father who delights in you,
As you find solace in this sanctuary,
You’ll find transformations in your heart
The concepts that seemed so hard before
Are being replaced with what sets you apart.
As the caterpillar inside the cocoon,
You are lovingly swaddled in growth
To develop that new creature in you
Growing your wings is God’s fervent oath.
You will not come out, not you
But truly, the you you’ve wanted to be
You will be that beautiful apple,
That hasn’t fallen far from the Tree.

Not much to add to it, just that God is faithful and desires to create in you the 'you' you were meant to be....because when you come to God, that is just the beginning.
Ephesians 3:20
Glory belongs to God,
whose power is at work in us. By this power he can do infinitely more than we
can ask or imagine.
